Philippine senators cast their ballots early Monday for the 2025 midterm elections, joining millions of voters exercising their civic duty on Election Day.
Senate President Francis Escudero and his wife, Heart Evangelista, voted at 7 a.m. in Buhatan Integrated School in Sorsogon.
Senator Raffy Tulfo, accompanied by his wife, ACT-CIS party-list Rep. Jocelyn Tulfo, cast their ballots at Quezon City High School.
Re-electionist Senator Ronald dela Rosa voted at Apolinar Franco Sr. Elementary School, in Santa Cruz, Davao del Sur.
Senator Grace Poe cast her ballot at Sta. Lucia Elementary School in San Juan City at 8 a.m.
Poe reminded voters that polling stations would close at 7 p.m. and advised them to bring a fan, water, and a prepared list of candidates.
Senator Christopher Lawrence ‘Bong’ Go voted in Lupon, Davao Oriental. He said it is every Filipino’s duty to exercise their right to vote for the country’s future.
