Bohol Governor Aris Aumentado and other local officials of the province have backed the senatorial campaign of Camille Villar in the upcoming May 2025 polls.
Villar reiterated her advocacies, including putting forward the welfare of overseas Filipino workers (OFWS), women and children, and the need to boost small and medium-sized enterprises, infrastructure, the housing sector, and education during her campaign in the Central Visayas.

During her recent visit, Villar also underscored the importance of beefing up resources and manpower for local tourism as means of improving the economy and providing more job opportunities for the people.
Villar noted how Bohol has become a world tourist destination for its coral reefs and unusual geological formations, notably the Chocolate Hills.
Bohol is also popular for its Loboc River Cruise, Hinagdanan Cave, and the extraordinary experience of swimming with whale sharks and snorkelling with sea turtles.
Villar also thanked incumbent Vice Gov. Tita Baja and Board Member Nick Besas, and third district Bohol Rep. Kristine Alexie Besas-Tutor for warm welcome and support.
