Former Vice President Leni Robredo has endorsed Paolo “Bam” Aquino’s bid to return to the Senate, praising his competence and reliability.
“More than just skill, Senator Bam can be counted on during the most significant battles. I know this well because he was my campaign manager when I ran for vice president in 2016 and again when I ran in 2022,” she added.
In addition to Robredo, Senator Risa Hontiveros and former Senate President Franklin Drilon have also expressed their support for Aquino’s senatorial bid.
Drilon praised Aquino’s work on challenging legislation, including the Fair Competition Act, which created a better business environment in our country and helped generate more job opportunities.
Aquino is running on a platform to expand the Free College Law to cover more students and ensure that subsidies for other school expenses are provided under the law. He has also committed to advocating for guaranteed employment for Filipinos.
Several celebrities have also voiced their strong support for Aquino’s senatorial bid, including Anne Curtis, Dingdong Dantes, Bea Binene, Janine Gutierrez, and veteran actor Edu Manzano.
