Employee-volunteers of AboitizPower have conducted community outreach missions in barangay Alas-asin, Mariveles, Bataan in collaboration with community partners and stakeholders.
The activities were led by GMEC-GNPD reputation and stakeholder management chief Jeps Mendoza and corporate social responsibility supervisor Abie Jacinto
who said the missions were part of continuing community initiatives of the company aimed at supporting health and wellness in host communities.
One of the activities was the “Medikalinga” medical mission, which catered to 109 patients held at Barangay Alas-asin covered court.
The outreach also involved the donation of medicines to residents of Sitio Dinginin. Another activity conducted was Project Saysay “Kalinga Kay Nanay,” a Mother’s Day celebration for barangay health workers and doctors assigned in Alas-asin.
