CAAP welcomed the graduates during a ceremony held at the Civil Aviation Training Center (CATC) in Pasay City on Friday. The course is designed to support the safety, regularity, and efficiency of the global air traffic management (ATM) system, in accordance with International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) standards.

Aeronautical Information Service (AIS) personnel are responsible for collecting, processing, and distributing data and information used by air navigation and flight operations personnel.

The aviation regulator emphasized the critical role of AIS in ensuring accurate and timely information for air travel.

CAAP Deputy Director General for Operations Rozzano Briguez reminded the members of Batch S1NANGUNA that the aviation industry demands the highest level of professionalism.

“Excellence is not a choice, it is a must. It should be part of our DNA. It should be part of life. Let us remember that,” Briguez said.

Launched in September 2025, the AISCC aligns with the directive of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and Transportation Secretary Giovanni Lopez to strengthen the country’s aviation sector.

The initiative focuses on investing in human capital and developing globally competitive aviation professionals.
