The SPD said the operation was launched based on verified intelligence from the Philippine National Police – Drug Enforcement Group, which was relayed through a confidential asset.

The asset informed the police that the suspect was preparing to deliver illegal drugs in the vicinity of Seaside Boulevard in Pasay’s Barangay 76.

Authorities discovered two green eco-bags containing six sizable vacuum-sealed packages of shabu, with each package weighing two kilograms, in the suspect’s possession.

The case has been forwarded to the Station Drug Enforcement Unit for additional investigation, with the seized substances scheduled for examination at the SPD Forensic Unit.

“Farhanie” is currently in police custody and will face charges for violating Republic Act 9165 at the Pasay City Prosecutor’s Office.

SPD Director Brig. Gen. Randy Arceo commended his men for their efficient and lawful execution of the operation.
