ISABELA puts it best foot forward once again with the celebration of Bambanti Festival that showcases the province’s top-notch commodities, world-class products, and rich culture and heritage, as well as scrumptious delicacies , captivating street dancers, and a host of other colorful activities.
Organizers said Bambanti is their traditional way of thanksgiving for bountiful harvest and a tribute to the local people’s resilience, strength, fortitude, and other core values that made them a cut above the rest.
The week-long Bambanti Festival 2026 has for its theme “Innovations through Tourism: Bagong Tuklas sa Bagong Bukas” or New Discoveries for a New Tomorrow).
The event, which unfolds on Jan. 18-24, takes its name from the Ilocano word “Bambanti,” meaning scarecrows-
