The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) on Monday evening recorded a 5.7-magnitude earthquake off the coast of Davao Oriental.
Its epicenter was located 107 kilometers southeast of Manay, Davao Oriental.

Intensity III (weak) was reported in Manay, as well as in Tagum, Davao del Norte.
No damage or aftershocks are expected from the offshore quake.
“This is an aftershock of the October 2025 Offshore Davao Oriental Earthquake,” Phivolcs said.
The state seismology bureau was referring to the “doublet” or twin earthquakes with magnitudes 7.4 and 6.8 that struck Davao Oriental on October 10.
