PMC to hold marathon at FB parade ground

The Philippine Marine Corps (PMC) will stage the “Karangalan” Marathon 2025 on Oct. 19 at the Bonifacio Naval Station (BNS) grandstand and parade ground in Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City, as part of its 75th founding anniversary celebration.

Proceeds from the marathon will support the unit’s three advocacies—educational assistance for Marine Corps scholars, aid for the children of fallen and wounded Marines, and logistical support for Marines deployed to border islands and maritime frontiers, including the West Philippine Sea.

Now on its eighth iteration, the run-for-a-cause highlights the PMC’s 75 years of “untarnished service and unwavering commitment” to defending the country while upholding honor above all.

This year’s marathon will be nationwide in scope and is poised to become Southeast Asia’s biggest annual military marathon, with seven legs set to take place simultaneously in Metro Manila, Laoag, Subic, Puerto Princesa City, Zamboanga City, Cotabato City, and Tawi-Tawi.
