“Yes, we have confirmed with the organizers in Japan, led by Sir Berwin. [On] September 20, they will be in Tokyo, and then [on] September 21, they will be in Nagoya. So, for the whole weekend, Saturday and Sunday, there will be a Filipino community gathering in Japan. And I understand, there will also be one here in The Hague. And likely, many more in the Philippines as well,” she said in Filipino.

Duterte also confirmed that her immediate schedule in the Philippines includes a visit to the Bicol Region for the Peñafrancia Festival.

When asked whether she plans to meet with Naga City Mayor Leni Robredo, the Vice President expressed her desire to meet local government officials from the entire region.

“We haven’t done our schedule yet. But yes, we would have liked to meet with the local government officials of — not just Naga, but the entire Bicol Region, if the schedule allows. But mainly, we are there to celebrate with the Bicolanos. To pray with the Bicolanos at their biggest Peñafrancia Festival,” she said.

The Vice President and her siblings, Congressman Paolo Duterte, Vice Mayor Sebastian Duterte, and Kitty Duterte, visited their father, former president Rodrigo Duterte, in The Hague, Netherlands.

This was her fourth visit to The Hague since March.

Recently, Duterte also traveled to Qatar, Malaysia, Australia, South Korea, Kuwait, and Paris.
