Philippine Airlines, the country’s flag carrier, has announced the cancellation of six international flights due to the developing situation in the Middle East. The affected flights include those traveling to and from Doha, Dubai, and Riyadh.
The following flights were canceled on Tuesday, June 24:
– PR 684 (Manila – Doha)
– PR 658 and PR 659 (Manila – Dubai – Manila)
– PR 654 and PR 655 (Manila – Riyadh – Manila)
Additionally, flight PR 685 (Doha – Manila), scheduled for Wednesday, June 25, has also been suspended.
Travelers are encouraged to regularly check their flight status by visiting the Flight Status section at www.philippineairlines.com or by checking the latest advisories on the official Philippine Airlines Facebook page.
In their advisory, PAL management stated, “We advise you not to proceed to the airport if your flight is canceled. Instead, please explore the rebooking options below.”
The airline offers several options to affected passengers:
• Rebook to another flight with available space within 60 days from the original flight, in the same booking class or higher within the same cabin class.
• Convert ticket to Travel Credits equivalent to the unused base fare of the ticket. Voucher validity is one year (1) from the date of issuance.
• Refund ticket without penalties, excluding Ticketing Service Charge.
