The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) and the Department of Tourism (DOT) are collaborating to enhance service standards in the aviation and tourism sectors within the Caraga region.
Under the leadership of CAAP Area Center 12 Manager Junelito Abrazado and Tourism Caraga Regional Director Ivonnie Dumagdag, the two agencies are organizing a training workshop to improve the overall travel experience for local and international tourists.
“This partnership reflects a shared commitment by both agencies to deliver world-class service, ensuring a seamless and welcoming experience for travelers,” Abrazado said.
CAAP Director General Captain Manuel Antonio Tamayo expressed gratitude for the collaboration and highlighted the importance of teamwork in raising service standards.
“We thank the Department of Tourism for this initiative, which allows us to provide the highest level of service and ensures that the Philippines remains globally competitive,” Tamayo said.
CAAP and DOT will continue collaborating closely to sustain and expand training programs to reaffirm the country’s reputation as one of the world’s premier destinations known for its hospitality and exceptional service.
