Cebu Pacific to launch Iloilo-Bangkok flight ops

Cebu Pacific is set to operate direct flights between Iloilo and Bangkok’s Don Mueang International Airport, offering a faster and more affordable way for travelers to explore Thailand.

Starting on March 31, Cebu Pacific will commence non-stop flights from Iloilo to Bangkok-Don Mueang three times a week—on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays—making it the only airline providing this service.

Bangkok will be the third international destination that it serves from Iloilo. The airline already offers direct flights from Iloilo to Hong Kong and Singapore.

“We are thrilled to give more travelers the chance to explore the magnificent city of Bangkok. Strengthening our Iloilo hub allows us to connect even more passengers from the Western Visayas region to exciting destinations across our international network,” Cebu Pacific president and chief commercial officer Xander Lao said.

To celebrate the launch of this new route, passengers can book flights from Iloilo to Bangkok for as low as P1 one-way base fare, exclusive of fees and surcharges, from February 12 to 16. The travel period for these flights will be from March 31 to October 25.

Passengers can use their existing Travel Fund to book flights and take advantage of other add-ons. Cebu Pacific also offers various payment options, including credit or debit cards and e-wallets.

Currently, Cebu Pacific flies to 37 domestic and 26 international destinations across Asia, Australia, and the Middle East.
