Navy distributes aid to Aeta community in Tarlac

he Philippines Navy’s Naval Special Operation Command uplifted the Aeta Community in Capas, Tarlac.

“In its unwavering mission to serve and uplift communities, the Naval Special Operations Command (NAVSOCOM) extended a helping hand to the Aeta indigenous people of Barangay Sta. Juliana, Capas, Tarlac,” the Navy stated.

This heartwarming activity was made possible through the collective efforts of NAVSOCOM personnel, honorary members, reservists, the Philippine Air Force (PAF), and generous stakeholders from the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO), Tanging Yaman Foundation, CDO Foodsphere Inc., and EAM Lodge No. 31.

Reaching 200 beneficiaries from Sitio Tarukan and Sitio Tambo, the command successfully distributed:

  • 200 pails filled with gift packs and grocery items to ease everyday needs.
  • Used clothing to provide warmth and comfort.
  • Sports equipment to encourage healthy and active living.
  • Toys to bring smiles and joy to children’s faces.

According to the Navy, this activity symbolizes NAVSOCOM’s steadfast commitment to empowering communities and promoting solidarity, especially among our indigenous brothers and sisters.

“To the Aeta community, you are not alone. Your resilience and strength inspire us to continue building bridges of compassion and understanding,” the Navy added.
