The Senate Office of the Sergeant-at-Arms (OSAA) has tightened security in the Senate following a bomb threat.
“While it was not considered as a credible and serious threat, the OSAA is nevertheless taking the necessary precautions,” Senate President Escudero said.
On social media, a comment stated that there is a bomb that will explode anytime at the Senate offices. The account wants the Senate to talk to him personally to know the reason behind the bomb.
“May nag post ng threat sa Senate FB page yesterday. Most likely by a prankster since nag post din kung saan saan yung account. But OSAA implemented security protocols per SOP starting yesterday just to be sure,” Senate Secretary Renato Bantug Jr.
