The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) participated in the 52nd Alay-Lakad commemoration, highlighting the nation’s collective commitment to empowering Filipino youth in Manila.
Through the Joint Task Force National Capital Region (JTF-NCR), the AFP collaborated with various agencies, including the Philippine National Police (PNP), to ensure the safety and well-being of all participants.
The Alay-Lakad program is a long-standing tradition that involves walking for a cause, aimed at raising funds and awareness to support the development of Filipino youth.
“AFP’s participation reflects its commitment to fostering a safe and secure environment for educational initiatives,” stated AFP Public Affairs Office Chief Colonel Xerxes Trinidad.
