Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) chief General Romeo Brawner Jr. on Monday conducted an aerial survey over the severely impacted areas of Naga City, Milaor, and Bula assessing the extensive damage caused by Typhoon Kristine.
Brawner also led the distribution of essential relief goods to residents of Barangay Duran in Balatan, Camarines Sur.
According to AFP Public Affairs Office Chief Colonel Xerxes Trinidad, this initiative was part of a coordinated effort to provide immediate support to those displaced and affected by the severe weather conditions.
“The visit underscores the AFP’s commitment to assisting the Filipino people in need. The AFP continues to monitor the situation closely and is committed to providing the necessary assistance to help these communities recover and rebuild in the wake of Typhoon Kristine,” he said.
