The partnership represents the support of both organizations for the National Learning Recovery Plan (NLRP) and aims to address digital learning gaps, aligning with President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s directives.

Education Secretary Sonny Angara and KCFI President and Executive Director Elvira “Rina” Lopez led the signing ceremony.

These lessons will be accessible across Knowledge Channel’s on-air, online, and offline platforms, as well as through DepEd’s online learning portal.

Additionally, KCFI will provide capacity-building programs aimed at strengthening the reading and mathematics skills of public school teachers and administrators.

DepEd also noted that it will provide policy guidelines, appoint a Partnership Coordinator, and collaborate closely with KCFI on implementing initiatives, including joint fundraising efforts to ensure the sustainability of their projects.

DepEd and KCFI have been collaborating for 25 years through the creation and distribution of multimedia learning resources aligned with the DepEd curriculum.
