Broadcaster Anthony “Ka Tunying” Taberna and his wife Rossel celebrated the people behind their business success at the Taberna Group of Companies’ (TGC) “Kasama, Kasalo, Pasasalamat: Partner’s Appreciation Day” on Dec. 10 at Cities Events Place.
The event recognized long-time partners, employees, and colleagues who supported TGC’s growth from a small venture built on “faith and persistence” into a diversified group that includes Ka Tunying’s chain of restaurants, Kumbachero Food Corporation, Taste of the Town Catering, and Outbox Media Powerhouse Corp.
Rossel Taberna, TGC’s chief operating officer, told guests, “We lead and serve with puso,” emphasizing the company’s focus on heart and service. She credited partners and employees for their role in the company’s journey.
Anthony Taberna thanked the media and business partners for their continued support. “Kasama namin kayo sa bawat kwento’t tagumpay,” he said, acknowledging their contribution to TGC’s successes.
The celebration featured a video tracing TGC’s early days, tokens of appreciation for partners, live entertainment, raffle prizes, and a grazing table prepared by Taste of the Town. The couple’s eldest daughter, Zoey, and the Tonton mascot also joined in the festivities.
The event highlighted the Tabernas’ gratitude and humility, honoring the community that helped build the company.
