Metro Manila bursts with festive cheer each December, with lights, interactive experiences, and holiday traditions drawing locals and visitors alike. From historic plazas to immersive art spaces, these are four Christmas stops in the capital you won’t want to miss.
Liwanag Park (Meralco, Pasig City)
At Meralco Liwanag Park, located within the Meralco complex in Ortigas Center, Pasig, visitors are treated to a vibrant, eco-inspired Christmas light experience featuring a towering illuminated tree crafted from recycled meter covers, interactive light tunnels, and a tranvia display that celebrates Filipino holiday traditions with sustainability at its heart.
The park is free to visit nightly from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. until Dec. 31, with some installations extending later on special nights, making it a perfect early evening stop before dinner or nearby night markets.
Festival of Lights (Ayala Triangle Gardens, Makati)

A long-standing holiday tradition in the heart of Makati, the Festival of Lights at Ayala Triangle Gardens wraps the park in festive illumination. The free light displays, often synchronized to seasonal music and featuring projections and LED lighting on trees and surrounding walkways, are best seen after a long, tiring day, with lights typically coming on around 6:00 p.m. and continuing into the late evening.
Art In Island (Cubao, Quezon City)

Art in Island brings a creative indoor twist to the holidays with Christmas-themed interactive zones. According to the museum’s holiday schedules and social content, visitors can expect festive spaces, such as “Window of Tales,” “Myth of Jungle,” and the “The Stage” area, which encourage guests to become part of the art and take seasonal photos.
General operating hours remain about 11:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. on weekdays, with extended weekend hours, and tickets are typically priced at P850, with children under 3 feet admitted free.
Rockwell Lights (Rockwell Center, Makati City)

At Rockwell Center, including Power Plant Mall and surrounding plazas, holiday decorations transform the upscale Makati precinct into an elegant festive backdrop each Christmas season. Decorative lighting includes sparkly façade lights, warm string lights on trees and walkways, chic indoor décor, and Christmas trees that create an inviting scene for evening strolls or casual holiday hangs.
This year’s display continues that tradition, with lights visible each night throughout December and complemented by seasonal events and extended mall hours into the late evening.
Whether you’re chasing sparkling displays, family traditions, or creative indoor experiences, these holiday destinations offer plenty of festive cheer this Christmas season. Bundle up for cooler nights, plan your route, and let these illuminated spots add sparkle to your holiday celebrations.
