Las Piñas City opens new high school building

The Las Piñas City government has announced the opening of a newly constructed CAA National High School building in Barangay BF International, marking another milestone in the city’s efforts to expand educational facilities and enhance learning conditions for students.

The four-storey edifice has a floor area of 2,230 square meters, including eight new classrooms, a computer room, a laboratory, a canteen, faculty offices, and a Technology and Livelihood Education room.

In addition, facilities such as a guardhouse, a covered waiting area, and daycare centers have been constructed to improve student services and security.

Mayor Imelda Aguilar and Vice Mayor April Aguilar led the inauguration and blessing of the building, joined by other local officials including councilor Mark Anthony Santos and Las Piñas Schools Division superintendent Dr. Loreta Torrecampo.

They emphasized the importance of this project in providing quality education.

Teachers, students, and community members also attended the unveiling of the new school infrastructure.

Mayor Aguilar stated that the local government will continue to work on improving school facilities in Las Piñas to ensure that students enjoy a better learning environment.

Dr. Torrecampo expressed gratitude to the city government for its support in expanding and upgrading public schools to meet the growing needs of both students and teachers.
