THE Las Piñas City government is strengthening its dengue prevention and control program amid rising number of dengue cases in the country.
The move was one of the key topics discussed during a recent city council session led by Vice Mayor April Aguilar.

From Jan. 1 to Feb, 15, 2025, the Department of Health reported 43,732 dengue cases across the country, marking a 56-percent increase compared to the 27,995 cases recorded during the same period last year.
The council, guided by members of the Committee on Health and Social Services, discussed and approved a draft ordinance aimed at enhancing the anti-dengue program.
