KALIBO, Aklan—The Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Aklan (PCCI-Aklan) will hold a whole-day investment forum on Friday (Nov.15) at the Marzon Convention Center here.
Josefina de la Cruz, program director, said they expect around 100 participants from local government units, businessmen, and young professionals from Aklan, Iloilo, Antique, Boracay Island and Capiz to attend the forum.
Among those who have confirmed their participation in the forum were officials from the regional offices of the Department of Agriculture, the Department of Economic and Development Authority (NEDA), Jaycees, the academe, and PCCI officers from all over Panay Island.
“Participants are expected to learn and engage in topics about investment opportunities in the evolving Western Visayas economic landscape,” said Dela Cruz, a former PCCI-Aklan president.
The Palafox and Associates is expected to present its urban planning study during the forum.
