Officials of Power Sector Assets and Liabilities Management Corp. and National Irrigation Administration attend the ceremonial turnover of the 165-megawatt Casecnan Multi-Purpose Project at the Manila Peninsula. PSALM and NIA represent the government’s interest in the CMPP at 60 percent and 40 percent, respectively. They took control of CMPP on Dec. 11 through a designated third-party operator that won the public bidding. PSALM on Oct. 12 declared Soosan ENS Co. Ltd. as the lowest bidder during the evaluation of bids on the procurement of a one-year operation and maintenance service contract for the CMPP.
