Hundreds, nay thousands, of consumers have dashed to the panic line Wednesday—trying to buy cleaning wipes, hand sanitizer, pasta, bottled water, among others—indicating that many are in the throes of coronavirus panic. Observers note panic buying breeds more panic buying.
