Subic Bay International Terminals, International Container Terminal Services Inc.’s business unit operating the New Container Terminals 1 and 2 at the Port of Subic, facilitates the safe and timely handling of the remotely operated vehicle Hydros in preparation for transport to Oriental Mindoro. The ROV, along with other support equipment, were loaded on the anchor handling vessel Pacific Valkryie and deployed to assist in the oil containment and recovery operations of the oil spill from a tanker that sunk in the waters off Mindoro.
