Social Security System (SSS) president and chief executive Robert Joseph de Claro and EastWest Rural Bank (EWRB) president Shiela Marasigan-Bajado lead the signing of the memorandum of agreement, designating EWRB as the first rural bank authorized to issue the MySSS Card. The program highlighted how the MySSS Card will bring accessible and secure financial services closer to members—especially those in unbanked and underserved communities. Serving as both an official SSS ID and a debit card, it enables faster benefit disbursement, convenient digital payments and everyday financial transactions.
