PAGASA reports that Tropical Depression Ada maintains its strength while slowing over the Philippine Sea east of Mindanao, with its center located about 545 kilometers east of Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur as of 4 p.m. Wednesday. Ada packs maximum sustained winds of 45 kph near the center, gusts of up to 55 kph, and a central pressure of 1004 hPa, according to Tropical Cyclone Bulletin No. 2 issued at 5 p.m.
