Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) Governor and Monetary Board (MB) chairman Eli Remolona Jr. (left) administers the oath of office of Department of Finance (DOF) Secretary Frederick Go as MB member in a ceremony at the BSP head office in Manila on Jan. 8, 2026. President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. designated Go as Cabinet representative to BSP’s policy-making body. He takes over the post held by former DOF Secretary and now Executive Secretary Ralph Recto. Other MB members are Benjamin Diokno, Romeo Bernardo, Rosalia De Leon, Jose Querubin and Walter Wassmer.
