Manila Water Company’s Pasibol program achieves a significant milestone with 14,665 trees planted across 36 hectares of critical watershed areas, reinforcing the company’s role in safeguarding water sources and promoting biodiversity. The initiative, held from October to November, brought together 332 employee volunteers and 803 partner volunteers from 35 partner organizations. Participants engaged in activities that extended beyond tree planting, including removing invasive species such as Mahogany and Gmelina and collecting harmful waste like plastic wrappers and PET bottles to help create a healthier ecosystem for native plants and wildlife.
