Department of Tourism (DOT) Secretary Christina Garcia Frasco meets with Visa Philippines officials led by country manager Jeffrey Navarro on Aug. 14, 2025 at the DOT Central Office to explore potential areas of collaboration in support of the Marcos administration’s tourism agenda on digitalization, connectivity and inclusive growth. The meeting covered possible initiatives on digital payments enablement, capacity building for micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and data-driven tourism insights—all aimed at enhancing the end-to-end travel experience and expanding opportunities for local communities engaged in tourism.
