Executives of SteelAsia Manufacturing Corp. and TotalEnergies ENEOS visit the 1.9-MWp solar rooftop photovoltaic system at SteelAsia’s Meycauayan steel plant during the project’s commissioning. SteelAsia, the Philippines’ leading steel manufacturer, successfully commissioned its first solar rooftop photovoltaic (PV) system in partnership with TotalEnergies ENEOS to decarbonize its steel manufacturing operations. With over 3,200 solar modules installed, the system will generate about 2,700 megawatt-hours (MWh) of renewable electricity annually.
