France’s President Emmanuel Macron reviews the troops during a military ceremony while visiting the Digital Support and Cyber Command of the French Army as part of his annual wishes to France’s Armed Forces, in Cesson-Sevigne, near Rennes, western France on Monday. Macron gave ‘his guidelines’ to the armed forces in the face of an ‘acceleration’ of threats which, in his view, requires Europe to make a real leap forward, at a New Year’s ceremony coinciding with Donald Trump’s inauguration in the White House.
