The Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) receives recognition from the Anti-Red Tape Authority (ARTA) for its accomplishments in promoting transparency and responsiveness at the 2024 Ease of Doing Business Convention on Oct. 30, 2024 in Pasay City. The BIR was lauded for initiating a remarkable volume of both open and discreet Investigations and for achieving a closure rate of 73.17 percent, having resolved 30 out of 41 complaints received through the Committee on Anti-Red Tape (CART) endorsements. The performance earned the BIR the distinction of being the top government agency with the highest number of resolved CART endorsements.
