Philippine Deposit Insurance Corp. (PDIC) president and chief executive Roberto Tan (left) and Indonesia Deposit Insurance Corp. (IDIC) chairman Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa renew a cross-border cooperation agreement on Nov. 12, 2024 on the sidelines of the 23rd IADI Annual General Meeting in Tokyo, Japan. Previously signed in October 2015, the memorandum of understanding (MOU) aims to enhance the effectiveness of both agencies’ deposit insurance systems and enable them to better carry out their mandates to protect depositors through bilateral and technical cooperation; and information-sharing.
