PH-Swedish relations

Finance Secretary Ralph Recto (rights) engages in a bilateral meeting with Swedish Ambassador to the Philippines Annika Thunborg to strengthen the Philippines and Sweden’s partnership and discuss potential areas for strategic investments. Sweden expressed strong interest in collaborating with the Philippines on sustainable transport, energy, digitalization, mining, healthcare and infrastructure. Recto pledged to streamline project approval processes for financing and private investments to enhance the ease of doing business in the country.
