Security Bank opens 5 branches

Security Bank Corp. said it ended 2025 with 377 branches nationwide after opening five new locations in December, the company announced over the weekend.

The year-end expansion aligns with the bank’s strategy to increase accessibility and support households and entrepreneurs across the country. The final push for the year included new sites in Luzon, Metro Manila and the Visayas to target high-growth corridors and developing residential areas.

In Luzon, the bank established presence in Guagua, Pampanga and Batangas City Highway. The Metro Manila expansion focused on Caloocan–Camarin, while new branches in Calbayog and Cebu–Mahi were opened to serve regional trade and small-to-medium enterprises in the Visayas.

Security Bank branch banking head and executive vice [resident Leslie Cham said the openings represent a deliberate investment in the convenience and aspirations of clients.

The bank designed the new locations to integrate with its digital channels, offering services ranging from daily transactions to long-term financial planning.

Security Bank said it continues to focus on its “BetterBanking” initiative as it scales its physical footprint to complement its online platforms.
