PEZA approves expansion of B/E Aerospace’s Batangas operations

The Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) approved the expansion of B/E Aerospace B.V. – Philippine Branch on March 11, 2026 as part of a national strategy to strengthen the aerospace manufacturing sector.

The agency signed an amended supplemental agreement with the company to streamline operations and integrate essential materials and consumables for manufacturing at the First Philippine Industrial Park – Special Economic Zone (FPIP-SEZ). Under the new terms, the company will enhance its production and deployment capabilities within the Batangas-based facility.

B/E Aerospace, a unit of Collins Aerospace, has operated under PEZA since 2010. The company focuses on the manufacturing, assembly, marketing, and distribution of aircraft interior components. Its operations also include the repair, maintenance, servicing, and modification of aircraft parts and interior systems.

PEZA director-general Tereso Panga said the amendment highlights the readiness of the Philippines for advanced manufacturing investments.

“Every development by our existing locators sends a strong message to the global market. We remain committed to supporting investors like B/E Aerospace as they expand operations and strengthen our aerospace ecosystem,” Panga said.

The expansion is expected to bolster the local supply chain for high-tech industries.

PEZA said it continues to promote the country as a hub for aerospace components, citing the skilled labor force and existing infrastructure in special economic zones as primary drivers for growth.
