1Life Inc. president Niño Namoco received recognition at the 5th Mansmith Innovation Awards, joining business leaders celebrated for transformative work in healthcare, health technology, retail, digital commerce, culinary arts, and media.
“1Life’s achievements result from collective effort. Every milestone reflects the sacrifices and dedication of my co-founders. We asked ourselves: ‘What is the value of innovation if it does not reach the people who need it most?’ That question became our mission. That mission became 1Life,” he said.
The awards, founded by entrepreneur Josiah Go, were presented on January 21 at the Carlos P. Romulo Auditorium, RCBC Plaza, Makati City. Twelve leaders were honored for creativity, vision, and lasting impact, including four executives recognized for innovations that drive industry growth.
Under Namoco, 1Life has deployed AI to expand access to early detection and preventive care nationwide. In two years, the company has served over one million patients across all 81 provinces and 1,335 cities and municipalities, reaching 18,181 localities through daily medical runs with multidisciplinary teams.
1Life integrates community-based care, advanced diagnostics, and AI-driven workflows. Innovations like the 1Life Digital Community Healthcare System, portable diagnostic devices, DocMate AI, and the 1Life Health app turn multi-day journeys into a single efficient visit. The company also partners with PhilHealth, the Department of Education, local governments, and other agencies to support barangay health systems.
“Healthcare should not be a privilege. It shouldn’t depend on your zip code, income, or connections. We innovate for the last mile, for underserved communities often overlooked because they are not always profitable,” Namoco said.
The 2026 Mansmith Awards, presented by Mansmith and Fielders, Inc., honor innovation, entrepreneurship, and long-term impact. This year, the program added the Mansmith Entrepreneur Awards and CEO Lifetime Achievement Awards to recognize leaders who demonstrate sustainable growth and visionary leadership.
