Eastern Communications has secured a strategic partnership with Shangri-La Mactan, Cebu to become the resort’s provider of high-speed internet and advanced ICT solutions.
The telecommunications company will provide Shangri-La Mactan with 1000 Mbps of its Internet Direct Service (IDS) to support guest-facing digital experiences and internal operations. Designed for large enterprise environments, Eastern IDS is a dedicated internet solution with a 1:1 contention ratio intended to ensure stable and reliable connectivity during peak usage periods.
The collaboration reinforces the position of Eastern Communications as a connectivity partner for enterprises requiring robust infrastructure and personalized support. Bringing enterprise-grade connectivity to a premier island resort demonstrates the provider’s commitment to enabling businesses to operate regardless of location.
