In response to the President’s directive to expand internet access in remote schools and communities, the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) launches the Bayanihan SIM Project in Barangay Sikatuna, Isabela, Negros Occidental. Managed by DICT-Negros Island Region, the initiative distributed 1,135 Smart SIM cards to students, teachers and staff of Isabela NHS–Sikatuna Extension and Sikatuna Elementary School. Each free SIM card provides 25 GB of monthly data for one year to support online learning, communication and access to digital services.
