As the Philippines takes on the ASEAN chairship this year, Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Secretary Cris Roque and Economic Research Institute for ASEAN and East Asia (ERIA) president Tetsuya Watanabe sign a memorandum of understanding (MOU) at the DTI-OSEC Conference Room in Makati City on Jan. 15, 2026. Under the partnership, DTI will lead the coordination of key economic priorities, while ERIA will assist in research, policy advice, and technical support.
