Uniprom ticketing arm Ticketnet has integrated Google Wallet into its platform, allowing customers to store and access event tickets digitally on their mobile devices.
The move eliminates the need for physical tickets, enabling users to present their phones for scanning at movies, concerts and sporting events.
Ticketnet was among the launch partners for Google Wallet in the Philippines in November 2025.
The feature introduces an “Add to Google Wallet” button on mobile tickets. With a single tap, tickets are stored directly in the application, providing secure access on the day of an event. The integration connects directly with Google Wallet APIs, placing digital tickets alongside payment cards and identification.
“We are glad to be one of the first services that will boast of Google Wallet integration. This will mean easier access and more convenient ticketing for our customers,” Uniprom chief operating officer Irene Jose said.
Jose said the initiative aligns with global trends as digital wallets become standard tools for entertainment venues.
Uniprom, an events and talent management company owned by Ayala, operates Ticketnet as a leading ticketing provider in the country.
“We’ve always believed in the power of technology to enhance entertainment experiences. This integration is another step in bringing ease and efficiency to our customers,” Jose said.
