Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Undersecretary Benedicto Ernesto Bitonio Jr. of the labor relations, policy and international affairs cluster and the regional operations cluster leads the department’s flag-raising ceremony on Jan. 5, 2026 at the DOLE Central Office in Intramuros, Manila. On behalf of Secretary Bienvenido Laguesma, Bitonio expressed his gratitude for the meaningful contributions of the department’s attached agencies, regional offices, bureaus and services over the past year, particularly in workplace conflicts resolution, labor standards enforcement, employment promotion and disaster response.
