EastWest Banking Corp. has signed a partnership agreement with PayMongo to broaden digital payment options for Philippine businesses.
Under the agreement, EastWest clients can integrate the PayMongo payment gateway into their operations with preferential merchant discount rates. The collaboration allows enterprises to accept credit card, e-wallet and other digital payments at competitive price points.
EastWest Chief Executive Officer Jerry Ngo said the inclusion of PayMongo into the bank ecosystem enables easier online payments and faster settlement. Ngo noted the digital commerce experience is designed to support business growth through lower costs.
The partnership provides entrepreneurs with tools to simplify digital transactions and manage operational needs, according to PayMongo Chief Executive Jojo Malolos.
The two companies intend to explore further integration of financial technologies into future business solutions as the collaboration evolves.
