Havitas Developments Corp. chairman and co-founder Alejandro Mañalac received recognition at the Global Entrepreneur Leadership Awards 2025 in December for his contributions to the Philippine property sector.
The ceremony, held at the Seda Hotel Vertis North, honored individuals whose leadership and vision have created significant industry and community impact.
Mañalac, a PRC-licensed real estate broker and was recently named the PRC Outstanding Professional of the Year for real estate, also serves as Keller Williams Manila Bay operating principal. He is widely recognized for promoting “responsible real estate,” a philosophy focusing on ethics, long-term value, and professional development.
The event highlighted national economic stewardship by honoring other prominent figures, including Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry president-elect Perry Ferrer and Employers Confederation of the Philippines chairman Sergio Ortiz-Luis.
The awards celebrate business excellence that extends beyond commercial profitability to include broader economic leadership.
Mañalac has focused on industry education and international speaking engagements. He leads development projects that integrate sustainability with investment discipline while mentoring the next generation of real estate professionals.
Mañalac said during the event the award serves as a reminder that leadership involves a responsibility to uplift people and contribute to the country rather than just building businesses.
The Philippine real estate market adapts to shifting global trends. Industry analysts note that leaders who balance growth with purpose, such as Mañalac, are becoming increasingly central to the sector’s evolution.
