Sheraton Cebu Mactan, owned and developed by AppleOne Group, has received dual recognition in the inaugural Michelin Guide Philippines.
The resort’s Japanese-Latin American restaurant, DIP Nikkei, was named a Michelin Selected restaurant, while the property itself also earned a Michelin Selected distinction for its exceptional hospitality experience.
DIP Nikkei, known for its refined modern Nikkei cuisine, blends Japanese precision with Latin American flair. The restaurant is celebrated for its captivating ocean views and designer interiors, which feature herringbone parquet floors, mosaic walls and rattan chairs, creating a refined yet unpretentious atmosphere.
The resort’s Michelin Selected distinction recognizes its thoughtful design, elevated service and authentic sense of place, which together present a contemporary vision of coastal luxury that is relaxed, connected and distinctly Filipino. Located along a white-sand coastline only 30 minutes from the airport, Sheraton Cebu Mactan invites travelers into an elevated yet effortless resort living experience.
The dual recognition marks a new chapter for Mactan, transitioning it from a stopover point to a primary destination in the Cebu region.
