Davao City Water District has tripled its new water service connections to over 21,000 today from 8,600 in 2022, which means around 14,000 more households now have access to clean, reliable water. This milestone is part of the ongoing service expansions of the Davao City Bulk Water Supply Project (DCBWP), a partnership between Apo Agua and the Davao City Water District (DCWD). The project taps the Panigan-Tamugan River to sustainably supply surface water to the city, reducing pressure on groundwater sources and securing Davao’s water future for generations to come.
