Citicore Renewable Energy Corp. emerged as a winner in this year’s The Asset Triple A Sustainable Infrastructure Awards.
CREC took home the award for Renewable Energy Deal of the Year – Portfolio Financing for its P9.12-billion project finance facility, sealed in April 2024.
RCBC Capital is the transaction’s lead arranger with Romulo Law and PJS Law as legal advisors. The awarding was held on July 2, 2025 at the Four Seasons, Singapore.
This is the initial tranche of a financing deal that is slated to reach up to P20 billion. The structure is believed to be the first-of-its-kind in the Philippines, which covers various project portfolios instead of the typical per-project financing structure.
