Manulife Philippines, a local unit of global financial services leader Manulife, and Manulife China Bank Life (MCBL), the strategic alliance between Manulife Philippines and China Banking Corporation, have announced the appointment of Amy Gochuico as president and CEO of MCBL, effective April 1, 2025.
Gochuico brings over 30 years of insurance and leadership experience across various Asian markets and organizations, with two decades focused on bancassurance.
As MCBL president and CEO, she will oversee partnership management, drive growth, strengthen the distribution team, manage key business risks, and ensure quality outcomes that reinforce Manulife as the number one choice for our customers.
Prior to her new role, she served as chief bancassurance officer of Manulife Indonesia since 2021, where she led the Bancassurance channel’s growth and profitability.

During her time at Manulife Indonesia, she ensured sustainable and consistent growth for the company’s bancassurance business to meet its long-term commitments,” said Manulife Philippines president and CEO Rahul Hora.
